I’m selling my used (I am the 3rd owner) Alligt Alleweder velomobile that has a modified stokemonkey electric assist for $4000. The original owner assembled this from a kit distributed by velomobileusa.com. You can see the construction photos at humanpoweredmessages.com/construct. This owner put about 9000 mi on the velomobile before selling it to make room for a WAW velomobile.

The following modifications have been made from the original build:

Replaced the rear wheel with a SRAM Dualdrive II Replaced the chain with a SRAM PC-971 Replaced the rear derailleur with a SRAM X-7, 9-speed Replaced the power side idler with a titanium Terracycle Power Idler Reconditioned the shocks Added a turtledeck and soft top for weather protection Replaced the nimh battery packs (20 lbs) with a nano phosphate lithium ion pack (7 lbs) . The new packs are rated for 2000 charge cycles of which 25 have been used. Changed out the rear lighting to use a Ducati LED assembly Replaced all tires with Schwalbe Marathon tires

These new components only have roughly 1400 miles of use (still in excellent condition).

This is currently setup for an xseam of 45”(shoes on method). The seat will move to accommodate up to an xseam of about 47”. Further adjustment is accomplished by moving the bottom bracket and adjusting the links in the chain. Please communicate with me if you have any concerns about sizing. My height is 70”.

Interested buyers will have to pick up the Velomobile, I will not ship – unless you live within the main highway route from Mobile, Alabama to Dallas, Texas – I drive this route frequently).
