011709 WeightWell I bought a new Taylor 7548 Electronic Bathroom Scale. The Taylor 7548 was $41.99 taxes out at Costco.

It displays in kilo grams and pounds and has a large read out and displays in 0.2 increments. I weighed in at 185 on the old scale and the new Taylor 7548 claims I am only 183.6 pounds.

This is getting better all the time.

now that you’ve had the Taylor scale for awhile, has it met your expectations in quality, workmanship and accurate measuring

    Hi Dave,

It seems to be ok. The weight it gives when I weigh myself will fluctuate within one pound if I weight myself 3 or 4 times.

When I was in BC for a couple of months I purchased Sunbeam digital scale model SDR520CO-01 which is very accurate. You can weight yourself on it over and over and it is always the same.

For me the percentage of body fat is not an issue right now as I am working on loosing fat. After I get down around 145 to 150 then percentage of body fat may be an issue.

I have just bought these scales, and have found them to be very accurate - so long as they are on a solid floor. I am from the UK but am in the US for a while and since I am trying to lose a lot of weight I wanted to be able to keep it up overseas so I bought this scale. I was 282 lbs on my home scales and I am 282 lbs on these, no matter how many times I get on them in a row. Very impressive.

    Hi Dave,

Yes I am very impressed how accurate the Taylor scale is. I have another scale and it changes almost every time I get on it.

    Hi Dave,

Yes I have been very impressed how accurate the Taylor is also. I have another scale and it changes every time I use it.

I purchased the Taylor 7548 about 1 year ago and love the large display. It does tend to vary +/- 2 lbs when I weigh myself 3 or 4 times in a row.
The other day it had added about 30 lbs to my weight and showed the battery symbol so I changed out the batteries. Since then I have not been able to get it to work. When I step on the unit it (sometimes) shows 00.0 then displays ERR otherwise no display or just -.-.
Removing and re-inserting the new batteries and toggling between kg and lbs doesn’t seem to help any.

Any ideas on what I could do to get it working again. A little frustrated…..
