This morning I picked up a 1.8kg club pack of striploin steaks at Canadian Superstore in Chilliwack at 50% off. They were already at the amazing price of $17.60/kg and the 50% off bring the price down to $16.19 for 1.8kg. That ends up being $2.25 per 230 gram steak including the marinading sauces.
I trimmed off the fat and cut the 4 – 1″ steaks into 8 portions of about 230 grams each and marinaded them in Club House Montreal Steak Rub Marinade and Diana Marinade Teriyaki sauce. Ruby from the meat department at Superstore suggest I try adding 60ml of Teriyaki sauce to the steaks when I bag them up.
I keep 2 steaks out and the others go into the freezer. As soon as I get back from my 25km bike and 10km run I will put one on my George Foreman B Grill.
