An overseer of a congregation is called to minister in the following seven areas.
–Spiritual: salvation, recovery from backslidding, dicipleship, witnessing, doctrine, growing in grace.
–Church Life: doctrine, pratical living, outreach, intercongregational relationships, conduct in meetings, ministering to children, teens, adults, and the elderly.
–Marital: courtship, general marriage councling, divorce and seperation councling, death of spouse councling.
–Child Raising: home schooling, child training, order in the congregation.
–Financial: budget, auto and home purchases, savings.
–Employment: employee/employer ethics, education, business startups and failures.
–Health: births, personal hygene, weight control, mood changes, coping with sickness, preparing for death, death.
