I Love My BibleWith the help of the Lord I am taking the Word of God more serious. In Romans 10:17 we are told that “faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

To me, this means if we as the children of God read the Word of God in the Spirit, our faith will increase. Here are a few scriptures showing the importance of faith in the Christian walk.

2Co 1:24 for by faith ye stand.

Eph 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

1Pe 1:5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

1Jn 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

On an average, I have been listening to the New Testament twice a month during my workout, which has been a big blessing to my soul.

About a week ago I decided that I need to be doing more reading in my Bible. There are 260 chapters in the New Testament, and if you read 9 chapters a day you can read through the New Testament once a month.
