   I am PRAYING for our nation,and can’t afford what this plan will cost
   those of us who already have a great health plan. @ TRILLION dollars is
   going to HAVE to come from somewhere!

   Hi Howard,

   You may want to listen to the speech again. For those that have a great health plan you will just get better protection and it will not cost you more. While I don’t know how it will turn out Obama’s claim is that the health plan will save money not cost more money.

He REPEALED the Mexico City policy barring federal funds of abortions overseas FIVE DAYS after taking office. Are you UTTERLY UNINFORMED?! Federally-funded abortion? “Amazing Speech”?!!! Really?    As for “Healthcare”, now the left is admitting that rationing will be necessary for cost control (do you remember ignoring the “death panels” warning). You are being taken to the wood-shed, fella. What in the world is WRONG with your twisted perspective? Dude, this guy is UTTERLY evil, versus others who are at times backslidden, sometimes right-on, sometimes tarnished, sometimes struggling, always frustrating conservatives. Bob, you have Stockholm Syndrome!

   I want you to know that your teachings are still very challenging, but your astonishing support for such a PROFOUNDLY evil person is just appalling! The man REPEATEDLY voted against provisions of the born-alive amendment in the state of Illinois! What is this link still doing on your site, Bob?!!

   I’m sorry for the angry tone in the above posting. It’s just that I’m searching for someone who can really lead me to God, and then I stumble across something like this. It seems that anabaptists like yourself seem to have a romantic tendency to embrace the evil man: hoping to see his good side while harshly correcting the backslidder. Can you help me understand how a man such as yourself with fearful reverence for God can contine to warmly support such a seemingly evil deceiver. Gay marriage, public funding of abortions, Marxist economics, hostility to free speech for Christians who oppose homosexuality…where does it end, Bob. Yet, you think this guy’s speech is “amazing”.

   Where were you when former President Bush re-instated the Mexico City policy in 2001, overturning the Clinton administrations long-time support of international abortion. Did you feel inclined to call that “amazing”? If you would, think deeply about that.

   The anabaptist community seems to fall into their lovers arms (socialism) when socialist issues come up. As much evil as capitalism can do, it is NOTHING like the evil of socialism. NOTHING.

   No I am not uninformed. Here were a number of concerns where the bill would support abortion. Obama created an executive order that addressed those concerns. The executive order verified that Henry Hyde’s 1976 amendment banning the use of federal funds for abortions would stand.

   Sarha Palin’s “death panels” charges were in my view false and without merit. This post was written on Sept 9th 2009 and on Aug 13th 2009 any “end of life” proposals were dropped from consideration.

   What is twisted about saying Abama is a gifted speaker and the health care reform bill over all is a bill that will help many people received medical insurance they need.

   The bill in my opinion is a good one. As with each leader they will create bills that are good and some bills that are not good.

   I have never supported Obama. But I am not so blind that when I see good I can call it good. This was a good speech and it is a good bill.
