I am now currently running 5.4km, 6 days a week, which takes me about 50 minutes each day. My Bowflex workout also will be 6 days a week and will take me around 50 minutes.
Today I made a commitment to listen to the New Testament while I do my workout. This morning on my run, I started in Matthew and listened to the first 11 chapters. I figured out that the KJV audio New Testament that I have is around 20 hours long.
By listening 100 minutes a day, 6 days a week, 4.33 weeks a month, I will be able to listen through the New Testament twice a month.
I got very excited about this. Each month that I do this I would be willing to purchase a different version for the next month.
I would love to listen to the New Testament in the NASB, NIV, NKJV, RSV, and AMP versions. What an increase of faith I will receive by doing this!
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. — Rom 10:17
This increase in faith will give me more victory in my Christian walk.
For by faith ye stand. — 2Cor 1:24
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. — Eph 6:16
Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. — 1Pet 1:5
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. — 1Joh 5:4
