I am planning to move up in the world of printing. I am currently looking at a used Konica Minolta CF3102 color copier with a FN-8 Booklet Finisher. With the addition of a PF-121 paper tray, this copier can hold 3250 pages and it prints at 31 ppm in color or B&W.
The FN-8 booklet finisher folds and staples up to 15 sheets at a time for a 60-page booklet. A setup like this retailed for over $11,000USD four years ago, but you can pick them up off-lease for a very good price.
I found a used one down in the States that I can have shipped up here for $250USD. I will post more information on this copier later if I decide to purchase it.
I need a copier with a booklet maker, as it is currently taking me too much time to fold and staple my own booklets. I am also in the process of ordering floor stands that will hold 5.5″ x 8.5″ booklets, which I will be putting in bookstores with John Wesley’s sermons and other booklets I am publishing. So I need a solution where I can send a print job of x number of copies of x number of different booklets and let it run.
