Koine GreekGreek Audio New Testament by Logos Bible Software — This product is currently under development with a projected ship date of March 27, 2009 and is priced at $39.95. This product will be available for only Windows users.

John Schwandt, a Senior Fellow of Classical Languages at New St. Andrews College, where he currently teaches Greek, is the Narrator. The Erasmian Greek pronunciation scheme is used, which is the standard used in most seminaries and Bible schools.

The Greek Audio New Testament works as a stand-alone product. However, for optimal use, you will want a Greek New Testament or a reverse interlinear. The text that is being read is the NA27.

The above video was 655px wide and my content column is only 500px wide so part of the video is cut off. Here is a popup of the video of the Greek Audio New Testament in Action in full width.

The Greek Audio Bible will work stand-alone, but it is limited as you would only have audio. To take advantage of the integration of the audio with the Greek text, you would need to buy either the Nestle-Aland 27th Edition Greek New Testament (Morphological Edition) at $99.95 ($75.00 via phone sales), the Nestle-Aland 27th Edition Greek New Testament with McReynolds English Interlinear at $129.95 ($99.95 via phone sales) or purchase the Original Languages Library (ND) for $415.95 ($311.96 via phone sales).

Logos also has a current product, Greek Pronunciation Addin with Erasmian & Modern Data Sets, for $19.95, but it only pronounces the lexical form.

Here is a comparsion of the different Logos Bible Software Base products.

Logos has posted a review of the Greek Audio New Testament on their blog. Make sure you read the comments of this blog post, which have some interesting information.

I am currently considering purchasing the Original Languages Library (ND) product which is $311.96.
