Bob Mutch WorkingVictor Wiebe WorkingFor Tuesday morning devotions Victory and I discussed the some of the following scriptures.

–”And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him. And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought. And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking” Mk 8:22-25.

We need to see clearly. To see men as trees is to not see the need of their soul. They are no different to you then the trees you see. You need another touch from the Masters hand so that you will see clearly and carry a soul burden for them.

–”He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD” (Pro 17:15).

We need to be equally careful of condemning the just and justifying the righteous. In the way you judge others God will judge you (Mat 7:2).

–He loveth transgression that loveth strife” (Pro 17:19).

Those that love strife love transgression for “the servant of the Lord must not strive” (2Tim 2:24). A debating spirit that wants to win an doctrinal argument for the sake of winning the argument is not of the Spirit of Christ. In discussing doctrinal differences we should try to understand the opposite position and acknowledge good points others make for their position and difficulties their are in our own position.

–”He who has a crooked mind finds no good” (Pro 17:20 NASB).

If we are always pointing out faults and don’t see things to commend people for we are crooked and we need to be straighted out by the Lord.
