If you are in the market for a Netbook you may want to consider the Dell Mini 10v Netbook.
Dell Mini 10v Netbook
The Dell Mini 10v Netbook comes with Windows XP SP3, 10.1″ LCD with 1024 x 600 resolution, 1GB RAM, Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz CPU, 160GB 5400rpm SATA harddrive, Wireless 802.11g (1397) Mini Card, Integrated 1.3M Pixel Webcam, 24WHr Lithium-Ion 3-cell Battery, Stow-N-Go Laser Ultra-Portable Mouse, and a 1 Year Limited Depot Warranty.
You may want to get the 56WHR Lithium-Ion 6-cell Battery for an additional $40 or the Bluetooth 2.1 module with EDR for an additional $20.
I found a Dell Mini 10v Netbook at the Charlottetown Walmark for $368 and received a 10% discount as it was there last one and was an open box. I am currently working on setting it up as a dual boot with Windows XP and Mac OS X 10.5. I plan on doing a post on how that is proceeding later.
In Canada the Dell Mini 10v Netbook is currently on sale for $329 which is a $74 discount.
In the USA the Dell Mini 10v Netbook is available for $299 USD with the same specs except the harddrive is 120GB, and there is no Stow-N-Go Laser Ultra-Portable Mouse. Also the USA model Dell includes a $25 gift card that is valid for 90 days.
While their are cheaper Netbooks on the Market the Dell Mini 10v, this model is very Hackintoshable, has a 10.1″ LCD, and the layout of the Keyboard and the Touchpad is very good.

That is USD, I have to ship it over the US border, and only has a 90 day warrenty. I don’t see that as such a big deal.
