I have been wanting to do some core strength training for sometime but have been putting it off until today when I found the following three iPhone apps.

Today I started the hundred push ups training program, the two hundred sit-ups program, and I am looking at the two hundred squats program.

100 Push UpsWith the pushup program I could do 25 push-ups so the program started me in week three. So in 4 weeks I should be able to do 100 pushups according to this program. My work out today was 1 set of 10, 12, 7, 7, 9.

200 Sit UpsWith the sit-ups I started with 20 and in week one in the third column. So in 6 weeks I should be able to bang out 200 sit-ups. My workout today was 1 set of 15, 18, 10, 10, 15 with a minute rest inbetween.

200 SquatsWith the 200 squats program I could do 100 squats comfortable. I may need to get some weights so I am holding off on that program. I bought the iPhone apps for both the push-up and the sit-up programs.

I will be doing these programs Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
