A Catechism On Christian PerfectionThe book ‘A Catechism on Christian Perfection’ by Edward T. Curnick is a gem. I am only on page 19 of this book that I am reading from Russell Stephenson’s library, but I am enjoying it so much I purchased two copies this morning.

I found the first copy of A Catechism on Christian Perfection on Abe Books for $9. Abe Books is a great place to pick up used books.

I got the second copy on eBay.com from power seller Bbrrmm for $13. Here is the Bbrrmm Books store and here are their items for sale, which currently stands at 1505 items.

Bbrrmm Books has quite a few good holiness books, so you may want to bookmark them. While you are at it, keep an eye on eBay seller www.dustandashes-dot-com who puts up around 50 new items for sale each Thursday.

For those in the US, this book can also be borrowed through the interlibrary loan office of your local library. There are 3 copies of this book at Drew University Library. Do a search for “E. T. Curnick” on the Drew Library Catalog form.

While the policy at Drew University Library is to loan books to libraries in Canada, you are required to pay the 1st-class shipping both ways, so it would almost be less expensive to buy the book.

E. T. Curnick also wrote a fictional story called ‘The Kentucky Ranger’, which is about a pioneer preacher by the name of Jasper Very. The time line of this story is in the early 1800’s and is built around the life and character of Peter Cartwright, a Methodist preacher.

You can read The Kentucky Ranger online.

If you think it would be helpful to my readership to do a post on the best place to buy new or used Christian books on the Internet, just leave a comment on this post. If I get more than 10 comments requesting this, I would try to do that post right away.
