022809 WeightMy weigh in this morning was 174.4 which I thought was kind of high but after my run I weighed in at 172.4. I ran my 6.5km (Garmin says 6.67km) at 39:59. My average heart rate (HR) was 159bpm with my maximum going as high as 184bpm.

Garmin claims I burned 569 calories but I read a review on the Garmin 305 calorie counting feature being a way off so I am sure about that number.

I am looking forward to giving the Springwater trail a go and see what kind of a time I would have now. My fastest time was 28min which was two summer ago. This last summer my fastest time was around 32min. I was told my a biker that the trail is 4.27km long.

With my current rate of 3.335km in 19:01, at the same rate I could do 4.27km in 24:19. With no wind, not having to pace myself for 6.5km, and a good sprint at the end I am guessing I could break 23mins on the 4.27km Springwater trail. If I remember correctly Matthew French who I used to run with did it in 24min one day he left me behind.

I very much miss running with Matthew French and Alferd Oppel but when Layne, Tinsmen, and Hilderbrandt put me out of the Restoration sect for not believing their were the one true visible church that ended that relationship.

I guess French and Oppel had no choose but to be bigoted toward me and withdraw fellowship or Layne would also put them out of the Restoration sect. That is the cost to be a member of the Restoration sect — you have to submit to the bigoted and sectarian decisions of that sects ministry.

What is a mystery to me is how people can accept the bigoted pronouncements of Layne and withdraw fellowship from other Christians and remain clear in their own soul. Truly the Restoration sect which claims to be anti-sectarian, see page 2 in their Gospel Trumpet paper, have become more sectarian than those they claim are sectarian.

I am 2.4lbs off my goal of being under 170lbs by March the 1st which means I am running about a week behind in my goal. I am considering doing a low calorie day today and getting to bed early so I have enough time Sunday morning to go for an early 6.5km run before church meeting. A 1400 calorie day and a hard run on Sunday morning should give me a post-run weight of 171.8.

I have started adding a cup (170g) of fruit to by workout protein shake. I can get 600g packages of frozen fruit at Price Chopper for under $5.
