Weighed in at 174.2 first thing and 173.0 after my 6.5km run. I tried to break 40min in my run this morning but I hit a stiff wind on the way back going North on Springwater Road. I ran 19:51 for the first 3.25km and 25:43 on the way back.
So what I am going to work on is doing the first half in 18min and then once I get that down I should be able to do the second half in 22min.
I am quite happy with the 173.0 weigh in as that will give me a 172.x weight tomorrow if I don’t bust my diet. Yesterday I ate an extra 600 calories when I when out for pizza with some of the men from the chess club. After a total calorie day of 2087 I didn’t expect to see 173.0 today.
My Garmen Forerunner 305 arrived today so I plan on using it on my run tomorrow morning and I also plan on doing a post on the product.
I did a 20km bike today also to make sure I lock in 172.x tomorrow and perhaps I will do a bike with my run on Saturday and see if I can pull off 171.x on Sunday morning.
Just as I started my bike it started to snow. You don’t want to slip on a bike when you are clipped in as it is impossible to unclip (for me anyway) and recover. So I just when around my own blow 16 or so times. My odometer stopped working after 9km so I estimated 20km. I am pretty sure I did more than 20km. The it was windy so that slowed me down. The bike really got iced up. I may post some pictures later.
